The Alpha Foundation was created in 2000 with the goal of creating a "can do" spirit in the individual and communities in education, health care, and various other capacity building areas. The program currently provides medicines and medical supplies to clinics that serve over 200 people in the Kenema, Bo, and Bombali District which help to provide local communities with medical care at little or no charge. An Automotive Training and Carpentry Training Center is currently being constructed, with the help of Bread and Water for Africa®. This center will provide skills training for individuals in Gorrahun Tunkia to allow them to earn incomes for their families upon completion of the training program. |
