Thank You State Employees!
Bread and Water for Africa® greatly appreciates the six years of generous support from our state donors. These contributions have enabled us to accomplish great things with African communities for Africans all across the continent. Important projects such as the construction of wells, schools, and clinics are now complete and operational thanks to your compassion and generosity.
We wish to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who designated Bread and Water for Africa® to receive their state workplace giving contributions.

How is Bread & Water for Africa® different from other organizations that do work in Africa?
Bread & Water for Africa® does not send staff to Africa. We do not tell African communities how to solve their problems and we do not do the work for them; however, we do monitoring visit. Our organization does not proselytize and we do not charge program recipients for our help. Bread & Water for Africa® supports grassroots initiatives. We provide funding to local, qualified, and registered African organizations and work in partnership with these organizations to implement their community accepted and locally appropriate ideas and programs. We provide support so that local people can make the difference in their communities, solving problems, communicating, learning new techniques, sharing these ideas and leading by example to make positive changes in their immediate environment.
