 Several weeks ago we asked for your support during this especially tragic time for the people of Africa. Though we could not prevent the drought – you recognized that your support CAN STOP THE FAMINE it had caused.
Thanks to your generous donations,
we are able to wire enough money to a local Christian-based organization to support a locally based food distribution effort and provide food for the famine-stricken Turkana region of Kenya. This organization will be able to use your gifts to purchase locally produced food from local farmers, including our very own Baraka Farm, and then safely and securely transport the food directly to the children and families in Turkana (shown on the map above) – where many have been without adequate food for weeks!
The harvest season is upon the Eldoret region! And thanks to your support, many Turkana families will survive another season and be spared another hungry night.
