Mission: The mission of Debre Tabor University is to contribute to the overall development of the country by producing competent graduates in all programs, excelling in agriculture and environmental science, health sciences, and technology, and solving societal problems by conjugating scientific research with indigenous knowledge.
In addition, through its community outreach program, Debre Tabor University provides healthcare supplies for clinics and hospitals, books, and school desks to primary and secondary schools. It helps community members through training and capacity building for youth.
Current Need: To obtain more medicines, medical supplies, and equipment to outfit medical health institutions in the South Gondar Administrative Zone. Additionally, to obtain textbooks and reference books for use in classrooms and libraries in elementary, middle, high, and preparatory schools and universities.
