Education is also a key step to sustaining democracies, improving health, increasing per capita income, and conserving environmental resources. Recognizing the importance of basic education, Bread and Water for Africa® supports our partners’ efforts in Kenya, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe, and Zambia to provide education and vocational training for African men, women, and children.

In FY 2013 Bread and Water for Africa® provided $36,000 in cash grants and $51,608 in donated items including books, school supplies, school furniture, computers and other educational materials for the upcoming school year. Please help ensure we can provide the same each year to these deserving children.
