· We continued to provide basic needs and shelter for orphans and vulnerable children. 190 children in Zambia and Kenya now have the opportunity to live in a home that provides all basic needs including food, safety, health care and education and 2,500 children received food through the Shinga Development Trust’s feeding program in Zimbabwe. |

| · With your help we provided basic health care and we shipped medicines, medical supplies and medical equipment worth over $6 million to our partners in Africa with nearly 40,000 people receiving health care services through clinics run by three of our partner organizations in both urban and rural communities of Sierra Leone. |  |

· We assisted with many agricultural development projects across the continent including the Baraka Farm in Kenya which provided grain, produce, meat and dairy products to the Lewa Children’s Home, a home for 87 children and staff in Eldoret Kenya, and the Kipkeino Primary School. Excess produce is sold in local and regional markets and 90% of what is earned goes towards providing the Farm with additional income to support the orphanage program. |

· Finally, with your support, we continued to provide opportunities for youth to attend both primary and secondary school, and vocational training opportunities for young girls and women with 90 young girls and women from the Namungalwe area in Uganda receiving tailoring training materials to start small businesses from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Uganda. |
