Young students at Kipkeino primary school in Kenya

At the end of January, the Kipkeino Primary School received results from the national Kenya Certificate of Primary Education Exams and once again ranked itself among the top schools in the country! Children at Kipkeino Primary School will be on holiday for the month of August before returning to school in September for their third and final term of the academic year, culminating in the next round of Primary Education Exams at the end of November. Wish them luck and fingers crossed for another stellar performance!

In addition to celebrating this success, students and teachers are looking forward to the construction of a new secondary school, the Kipkeino Secondary School. The secondary school supported by caring individuals like you and Bread and Water for Africa®, will complement the quality education received at the Kipkeino Primary School. Located on the same campus as the primary school, the secondary school will set aside scholarships for orphans from the Lewa Children’s Home and other impoverished, but hard-working, children throughout Kenya..

$53 could buy a Lewa orphan their mandatory school uniform for the Kipkeino Primary School.

$230 could pay for a Lewa orphan’s scholarship to the Kipkeino Primary School for an entire term!
