Meet one of the many orphans you are helping at the Kabwata Children’s Home in Zambia… Lupe is a fourteen year-old 9th grader that dreams of one day becoming a doctor!

support_educationOur partners strive to send every child to school year after year – but consider sending to school the 100+ orphaned children thriving at the Lewa Children’s Home in Kenya, or the 55 children at the Kabwata Orphanage in Zambia. The costs are staggering.

Throughout August and September, as students in the United States gear up for a new school year and African children prepare for their final term of the year starting September 3rd, we hope you’ll join us in spreading the word about education in Africa

Below are personal stories and videos from the children you help support, and the latest updates from the field. Check out our Facebook page too and ‘Like’ us for continued updates and highlights of these wonderful kids!

FUNdraise for Us!

nonprofit-organizationsRaise money and spread the word through a FirstGiving page! Start your own fundraising page and set goals to sponsor a Zambian orphan’s tuition for an entire year!Need ideas? In the past, our supporters have started pages for their birthdays (turning 40? Ask your friends to donate $40 toward the education of a child in need!) and for races and triathlons (ask your friends donate a certain amount per mile you complete in a race!).

The possibilities are endless! A Firstgiving page is a fun, engaging, and impactful way to support Bread and Water for Africa and our efforts to provide an education for African children who need it most!
